Unfortunately the Garden will be closed until further notice as Wellington City Council undergo pipe maintenance and repairs to the waste water infrastructure located under the garden.

    Monday evening we had a meeting with Dan Ormond and the team doing the work and we were advised that the fill should be completed by the end of the week.   • Lots of truck movements today
    2020-03-26/ 11:28:39.697 A pipe was exposed today after a lot of soil removal and moving soil around. Here are some more photos from the days activity.
  • Photo Updates on progress at the Garden
    2020-03-25 / 16:02:23.890 Here are some photos from Wednesday, most of the digging on the Endeavours street side. They have gone quite deep but no visible pipes. There was some excitement as some pipe work was discovered but not what they were hoping for.
  • We will be closed for Pipe repairs by WCC and Wellington Water
    As of the 16th of March the garden will be closed as WCC and Wellington Water repair pipes that run under 1 Endeavour Street. We have been told that once work is completed contractors will return the plot to a working garden again.
